Signs above the door and on each side of the door: 寶成銀(..) - which can be translated as 'Baocheng Silver'. Baocheng seems to be the name of the silver shop. Photograph by Ernst Boerschmann, which is reproduced in Old China in Historic Photographs 288 Views by Ernst Boerschmann (Dover Publications, 1982) on page 112 and captioned: "Shanghai. A silversmith's house". Honan Road is now Henan Zhong Lu.
