University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Ph03-151. Rachel Mary Hele Lampson (née Phipps) (1886-1930) was the wife of the British Minister in China, Sir Miles Lampson. The couple married in 1912 and they had three children, Mary, Graham and Margaret. Lady Lampson died of meningitis in Hong Kong on 23 January 1930.
