University of Bristol – Historical Photographs of China reference number: OH01-026.  Oliver H. Hulme is on the right.  Born in Manchester, England, in 1882, Oliver Heywood Hulme was briefly employed by the Chinese Maritime Customs Service from 1905 to 1906 before moving to the postal service in China. He served in post offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Taiyuan, Nanjing, Anqing and Wuhan before being transferred back to Beijing and appointed secretary of the Chinese Post Office’s audit department. Jade Fountain Marble Pagoda (华藏寺塔), Yuquan Shan (Yu Chuan Shan; 玉泉山), Peking (Beijing).  See OH01-045 and OH01-063.
