University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: DH-s002. Light manufactured by Barbier and Bénard in Paris and then re-erected at Peiyushan (Beiyushan or Shaho Island), Hieshan Islands, between Ningbo and Wenchow.  First lighted in 1895.
