Text of notice: SHANGHAI MUNICIPAL POLICE. / AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS / IN THE EVENT OF AERIAL HOSTILITIES THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS MUST BE OBSERVED. / Immediately it is known that aerial hostilities are taking place the senior officers in Police Station will sound an alarm signal, whereupon all persons on  upper floors will descend and take cover with those below. The best cover is on the floor behind solid walls, away from windows or glass doors. After dark all superfluous lights must be extinguished. Men on duty outside will warn their Stations immediately hostilities are observed and then take cover in the nearest building. Immediately the raid is over they will inform their station of any damage and/or casualties, and then render whatever assitance is required. / All should bear in mind that there is considerable danger in falling anti-anticraft shrapnel during such hostilities.
