University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Hn02-032. The unidentified young woman on the right is in many photographs in albums numbered Hn02 and Hn03. This appears to be the earliest photograph and is taken before her hair is cut short. She is next seen in Hn02-052, along with another unidentified woman. The two are often photographed together and on the same occasions.
