Message written in ink on the back of the post card: 'This boat took me between Corea & Japan (Moji to Fusan) four times during my trip. You see I went to Corea first, over to Japan back to Corea & back to Japan again on way back to Shanghai / Got this? / C.'. Corea = Korea. C = Charles (i.e. the caption was written by Charles W. Wheeler and signed by him).
