University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: WC01-152. The south eastern inner city corner guard tower, Tung Pien Men (Fox Tower, or Arrow Tower), now known as Dongbianmen.  The tower was damaged by shelling by American artillery during the rescue of the foreign Legations at Peking in August 1900.  See WC01-182.
