University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Sw22-124. Khaki cloth Kodak Negative Album, 12 cm x 16 cm. 149 negatives (sized 3.25 inches x 5.5 inches, 92mm x 147mm). The album was later labelled P1/X on the back cover.
The man standing at the back is very probably Sir Miles Lampson, British Minister to China.
