University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: SJ-s02. No caption on the original fine art photograph, which is mounted on an oak mount. The gate might be Zhanginmen (Guangqumen, Guang'anmen, Guangningmen), in the south-west of the Tartar (Outer) City, Peking (Beijing)? See page 147 of 'Peking' by Heinz v. Perckhammer (Berlin, 1928), which is a photograph of Guang'anmen, but has been captioned in error as "Dung-bien-men", i.e. Tung Pien Men (Dongbian Men).
