University of Bristol – Historical Photographs of China reference number: OH01-011.  Oliver H. Hulme is second from the left. Born in Manchester, England in 1882, Oliver Heywood Hulme was briefly employed by the Chinese Maritime Customs Service from 1905 to 1906 before moving to work for the postal service in China, serving in Beijing, Shanghai, Taiyuan, Nanjing, Anqing and Wuhan before being transferred back to Beijing and appointed secretary of the Chinese Post Office’s audit department.  See OH01-035 (same group).
