University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Mx04-083. Cadbury Research Library archive finding number: DA26/2/2/3 (John Preston Maxwell Papers). Luoyang Bridge (also known as Wan'an Bridge) crosses the Luoyang River, at Quanzhou (Chinchew), Fujian. The characters on the print are: 宋蔡忠惠公督造洛阳桥 (which means roughly: Luoyang Bridge - the construction of this bridge was supervised by Cai Xiang in the Song Dynasty. See DH-s023 (the bridge at low tide).
