Chinese troops retreated into the British held sector handing over their arms and ammunition to British troops 2 a.m. Oct. 30 1937. 387 Officers and men 25 wounded during retreat by Japanese fire. (see 106).' The Continental Bank Godown was next to the Sihang Warehouse 四行仓库). These godowns were the location of part of the Battle of Shanghai, as dramatised in the (historically inaccurate) blockbuster film 'The Eight Hundred' (八佰 Ba Bai).
