University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Hh-s171. Felix Hookham is reading The Specialist by Charles Sale. To his left: his wife Hilda (aka Nita) Hookham and daughter Peggy (Peg; Margot Fonteyn, 1919-1991). The Specialist is a humorous tale about a philosophical carpenter building an outside toilet. The implied joke in this photograph relates this very famous book to Peggy’s paper model castle.
