University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Gr01-018. Post card. This bell was presented to Viceroy Li Hung-chang (Li Hongzhang) by the Krupp Iron Works. After the Boxer Uprising, it was placed on a concrete base in Victoria Park and used as a fire or alarm bell. See EB-s0043 and JC-s054, NA02-13.
