University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Ar01-015. The caption in the album: 岳王坟前金鐘柏 Yue Wang fen qian jinzhong bai = Cypress in front of King Yue [Yue Fei]’s tomb. Yue Fei (1103-1142) was a general and poet of the Southern Song dynasty who fought against the Jin dynasty. See Ar01-016, Ar02-077 and Su01-18 (for other views of the temple and tomb).
