Henderson, David Marr Collection

David Marr Henderson, M.I.C.E. (1840-1923), worked for the Imperial Maritime Customs Service from 1869 to 1898, serving as Engineer-in-Chief. His primary responsibility was the design, construction, and maintenance of the network of lighthouses run by the Customs. The David Marr Henderson Collection includes a panoramic view of the Huangpu River and Bund, Shanghai, made from eight prints joined together, dated to March 1891, and attributed to the Kung Tai Photo Studio. 100 images.
